Coaching

Coaching is a conversation between people. It is a partnership that works together. Coaching challenges individuals and organizations to go beyond what they already know; to explore and uncover new levels of greatness. While coaching provides the opportunity to reflect, its purpose is to create shifts in perspective that remove barriers, engaging action that moves one forward with a new sense of confidence and resilience towards a desired outcome. When we are able to step out from behind ourselves with integrity, honesty and courage, we are empowered to be the very greatest we are meant to be!

 

Facilitation & Workshops

Based on the four cornerstones of LEAP - Leadership, Excellence, Awareness and Possibilities - I offer a variety of workshops for facilitation. These opportunities can be co-created and tailor made to meet the specific needs of the organization or team of people. I enjoy offering creative and unique training experiences that are based around specific themes. Focus points for training often include communication, coaching, mentoring, building rapport and engagement, team building, as well as wellness opportunities that focus on self-awareness.  LEAP is unique in that it offers these experiences using tools and strategies from a wide variety of backgrounds, creating experiences that build capacity, having lasting effects and results. People experience themselves differently after a workshop with LEAP and come out changed, feeling more resourceful and motivated about their lives and themselves. Feldenkrais

The Feldenkrais Method is an educational tool designed to improve human function by increasing self-awareness through movement. As we become aware of our habitual patterns for self-organization in any activity, that awareness enables us to choose something different, that might serve us better. Habitual patterns of tension and effort are introduced to possibilities that are efficient and easy. While the Feldenkrais Method invites new patterns for movement, similar flexibility begins to occur in our thinking and behaviour patterns as well. Instead of resistance and control, we experience creativity and resourcefulness in our thoughts and behaviours. Our body is a system, interconnected to other systems around us such as family, school, the environment. When one system is affected, the others are as well. Recognizing this and bringing this into our awareness is the first step to improving our health -  physically, emotionally, intellectually and spiritually.
